- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive public relations and communications campaigns tailored for government bodies, public sectors, and corporate clients.
- Formulate proactive media relations strategies, maintaining a robust network of contacts across mainstream press, digital publications, and specialized sector journalists.
- Draft, edit, and pitch high-quality press releases, media briefs, bilingual speeches, and opinion pieces (Op-Eds) with precision and political sensitivity.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics for high-profile public sector projects, including press conferences, stakeholder forums, community engagement initiatives, and roundtables.
- Monitor daily news cycles and public sentiment, providing clients with rapid-response media monitoring, crisis management counseling, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with the internal think tank division to translate complex policy research and data signals into engaging, media-friendly commercial narratives.
- Manage client accounts independently, serving as the main operational contact, alignment champion, and strategic advisor for ongoing campaign execution.
- Supervise and mentor junior account executives and writers, enforcing strict standards for quality, factual accuracy, and client alignment.
skills & experiences required.
- Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years of stable experience within a Public Relations or marketing agency setting, with a strong track record of handling public sector, government, or NGO accounts.
- Solid understanding of the local socio-political landscape, public administration structures, and current policy trends.
- Exceptional bilingual writing capabilities, with a proven ability to adapt tone and messaging for public consumption and governmental compliance in both English and Chinese.
- Demonstrated experience in media relations, with an existing network of media contacts and proven capabilities in crisis communication.
- Strong project management, multi-tasking abilities, and the resilience to deliver exceptional results under tight, fast-changing timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the professional confidence to present strategies and navigate consultancies with senior external stakeholders.
